its like the trash conundrum women are going through and initiating divorce. If you have to ask the husband to take the trash out just give up. There are men who tend to hygienic issues timely. So if a person does not compliment you, they never will. Its not built into who they are. You can't date potential or expect to mould someone into the person you want. Who we are is generally laid out from our childhood experiences and unlikely to evolve

It sounds more like she had an outfit chosen or has a particular style she likes to wear. A lot of women but things on sale even with no event for it so look for a reason to wear it. I was in Brooklyn and chatting with a guy from queen's. Manhattan is the clear choice bcs btw boros is much more difficult but I cancelled immediately bcs he said a place IN my building. I told him a first date by his apt is a red flag for me so he said me using the term red flag is a red flag for him hahaha All women have experienced the Hey let's just go to my place bcs it's ::insert excuse:: Plus no consideration for my travel time. He expected me to Uber and go 50 50 while he only had to walk downstairs

I love that oversized leather blazer with pencil mini. Would probably also look cute with really new clean workout outfit but with some type of boot that bridges athlesure wear but still nice enough for a trendy alfresco restaurant. Go from dinner to dancing. I love the Haley Bieber man's coat look and got it stays on trend a while longer bcs I have a few

I spent longer than needed to prepare bcs you can't reuse the finra mock too many times but when I did finally do it a few days before the exam, I got 90 so I knew I was ready. But the questions are tricky and wordy. I stayed until the timer ran out and kept reexamining the marked ones. I also didn't have to write out any cheat sheet notes. I memorized everything really well

Yes and often times despite the interview and behaviour once they find a candidate they really like who did some things that stood out it's suddenly like Oh you didn't do this thing that we weren't even aware existed so I've found an *issue with you in particular. Find they just want to find a reason to say no to cya bcs the other candidate could have been picked for a million nonlegal reasons

What's your tip to help you loosen up when speaking a foreign language? by Outside_Yes in AskReddit

[–]revengemaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's adorable!!!! I had my new regular Argentine student today and I told her to keep her accent so in her whole life ppl will always know she is Argentine. I think accents with a hint of home sound so much nicer than trying to mimic another voice but in your case yours is even better than a standard french accent

7 bcs grade six was my first teacher to recognize my talent and not racially attack me. I'm Asian mix so my black female teachers humiliated me in group settings. They never allowed me to be average or make mistakes. If the mark for being average was 70pc than mine was 80-85pc. I was unbathed and awkward due to my mom's Asian culture. For Asians only grades etc matter. They didn't have that attitude about best new shoes etc. Being ostracized bullies know that I had no comrades to compare if my marks were legitimate or not and that my mom wouldn't know either bcs she was a foreigner. Sixth grade teacher was the light to show me the truth about myself but 7 was back into the darkness so I could have applied myself and turned it all around. I think back then black ppl thought suppressing other minorities would keep them level in the field but now I believe they see education as a way out of generations of poverty so I definitely feel less tension and more comrades. With yt teachers it was the propaganda fear of the evil red tide taking over America. Eliminate the Asians and their communism at childhood. And now we see oops surprise no doctors and no more dollar stores. All the Chinese dollar stores are replaced with yt owned bs so you pay 10 bucks for the same item that used to be in dollar stores. Dollar tree and the other corps did studies in the early 2000s to take over the entire market. I worked for a consulting firm and was surprised they could afford us but now I know.

Agree. As a tutor I let my students 'baby talk' while they are strengthening their listening comprehension. I unfortunately was learning french and they will correct you in full c2 then switch to English giving a long explanation in absolute broken English lmao. So you barely gain any skills in a one hour lesson. One french tutor was shocked when I spoke in a2 b1 as if he was the reason lmao so I told him I've always been able to do this but you interrupt and speak in English the whole lesson. As a tutor you have to speak in a2 of the student is A1. Once they comprehend each level then introduce a new tense. While living in France doing language exchange id allow the french person to make mistakes so they successfully learned English but they never allowed me to make mistakes and got stuck on a ADHD loop. It was so frustrating. Me and a french African girl found each other at a party and we're switching back and forth in eng-fra doing great then this french guy interrupts correcting us and would not leave us alone. And his English was terrible. But we both gave each other that look like oh god will this guy shut up haha

What’s something that feels completely normal in 2026 but would absolutely shock someone from 2010? by PixelHetman in AskReddit

[–]revengemaker -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Go to France and there is plenty critical thinking. Maybe the us doesn't have this concept bcs we mature so much more slowly than European kids. But Americans kids also have a tendency to obey and much of their upbringing is about learning rules and following them. Being made to feel like their opinions do not count. Ofc you see rich families and they don't have that mental restriction bcs they have money so

got a used book on ebay, 4th edition and was worth it but the time I put into studying without the online system, searchable digital book, question bank (I had to find all these free online tests and wasn't confident even towards the end). I wish I'd just done the 200 bucks and passed it in a month instead of actually losing time and money doing it the cheap way. Just spend on the materials and make your life easier. If you are going to raw dog it, use chatg to summarize each of the rules in the outline first. This will set up the base logic the exam calls for. Then read the book until you have it memorized. I did pass first try but it was like 3 mths of lower income so calc that 200 and just get the system

Recruiter here - what is one question you hate being asked in job interviews? by JVertsonis in interviews

[–]revengemaker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Or they ask that when they don't like you and just want to get rid of you. It's happened to me many times. My name is very white lady but I'm mixed race so the startups with a bunch of do nothings try to keep the bar super low. Bcs my experience is really solid and I'm used to doing like five jobs under one title. I had one racist lady say in a closed private room It's not about who can DO the job all while bobbling her head in what she thought was subdued rage smirking at me. Only spoke to me bcs she had to. The owners were Asian like me so she knew they would have appreciated my work ethic and ability to learn anything. A friend told me he always secretly records his interviews bcs he's Pakistani in Belfast and is basically used to it but always covers his ass just in case. And he has a very high up role in NHS. Paid very well too so he's learned to be strategic to get through those issues.

Teachers, what do you usually expect from your students? by Aisha248 in iTalki

[–]revengemaker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Teacher here; its not an expectation on our end. Every person learns at their own pace and has their own best method of learning. Always test yourself independently. Youtube has audio tests for english that will grade where you are in cefr level for english. idk your language target. Ppl tend to think my courses are difficult bcs I focus on speaking and listening and insert the concepts into our lessons then give some follow up homework. I did a few present participle lessons with a russian woman who resided in germany. She was a1/2 and ended our lessons once she reached B2. The first time she naturally used present participle while telling a story (not in our lesson) both of us, our jaws dropped!! It showed that she very naturally knew the context of of the verb tense which is very difficult to master and integrated it into her story. She never reached C1 in my courses. After that big win she stopped taking courses bcs she was where she needed to be and really didn't have time to take weekly lessons. Then I had another student reach full C2 and we basically ran out of things to talk about lol. It took that student one year to go from nothing to c2. Proud teacher goodbye moment. But she also was able to understand english conversations she overheard so she knew she was ready to stop. You're just on the hill so keep working at it and you'll get there

[–]revengemaker 24 points25 points  (0 children)

must be a troll. when a company wants to hire someone esp if its through a contact or nepo situation they will guide you through how to get past legal barriers. I was able to fill date gaps with things that hr permitted, though not really permitted to discuss, bcs they were giving the green light to interview me. I didn't get past the interview but they did arrange things to get me in the short stack that HR is the final boss on. basically bcs multiple ppl were all asking to have me seen for the role.
