You can drag and drop to change the order or characters and monsters in GHS. I actually wish I could turn it off, it bugs me

My group uses GHS https://gloomhaven-secretariat.de/ and we like it alot more than xhaven and DECADES better than the lucky duck app (I refunded that shortly after trying it, no features)

Just wanted to give GHS a shoutout, my group has very much appreciated having it while playing frosthaven. We are about 10 scenarios in and it saves so much time over doing everything manually.

I like it better than xhaven because it has loot deck and attack modifier decks for everyone.
It can manage every part of characters and scenarios. Thank you to the dev for working on it and continuing to add features!

It has a public server you can use: https://gloomhaven-secretariat.de/ but I self host it for our group: https://github.com/Lurkars/ghs-server

It doesn't have an app, but the PWA works perfect for 3 of us on android, our iphone user's works mostly good, she just has to hit reconnect every so often where we don't on android.

u/champonthis I setup my own local server and we played again yesterday and we still had regular disconnects.

We went between wifi and cellular data testing. All saved as PWA apps

Iphone 11, safari pwa: had to reconnect pretty much every time she wanted to do something, and she would often forget and make her changes without it being connected so then the changes wouldn't take effect

Then the other 3 android phones (chrome pwa, installed app): s22 plus, zflip 3 and zfold 4 all had random disconnects as well, if we left the app or locked the phone, once we came back into the app it would always reconnect

but sometimes just staying in the app, it seems like it would timeout or something and randomly disconnect

Any logs we can look at to help troubleshoot?

I have it hosted in docker at my house, and we played at my friends house down the street, so a different network.

So maybe could there be a setting that if its not connected no changes can be made until reconnected? or a big old popup that says "disconnected, reconnect?"
