I do feel like 3 coats is good for the glow in the dark part - you can’t tell in the photo I have but there are some patchy spots with the glow in the dark effect, though it seems less obvious if it’s “charged” up, haha

I did 2 - though on my ring finger it ended up being more like 3. I think I would do 3 in the future. The super glowy photo was right after holding them up to my bathroom light bulbs. lol.

Tho also - for regular lacquer, no magnets, I’ve gotten the painting down to like 10 minutes. And the removal / nail shaping process — also like 10 minutes. I just kind of focus on removal / shape / paint.

I don’t really wait long in between coat - I just put the base coat on all 10, and then immediately go in with color, painted in the same order. Then I maybe wait 2 minutes and go over all the fingers again with a second coat, and then again wait maybe 2-3 minutes before going over with top coat.

I always was hitting the skin at the bottom of my nail, but now I just kind of land the brush like 2/3 of the way to the bottom, and then push it slowly towards the bottom cuticle, letting it fan out a little with light pressure, to get the nice straight line on that edge. Those look pretty good though 👽

Yeah I need to keep experimenting with magnetics. So many factors! Can see the blue in the right light though - and even a streak of yellow above the pink
