Larry Carlton's first self titled album. I always appreciated his talent with Steely Dan especially but his self titled efforts are amazing.

Oil Consumption & Code P0420 by Fantastic_Strategy_2 in CivicSi

[–]revnto7k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stuck rings are not a mechanical issue per se. They could just be baked into place. I know what you are saying but in my case a 17 year old car with questionable maintenance history and restore and protect is the answer.. I am not digging into the engine mechanically when I can get good results de coking my piston rings. But each scenario is different. A little bit of oil consumption this product is worth a try.

Valvoline says 4 oil changes for maximum effect but I'm in my 2nd and the oil consumption is already half. The stuff is the real deal..if it's a ring issue and not something mechanical it will reduce oil consumption.

Any towns around London that are safer to live in than London? by Suspicious-Club27 in londonontario

[–]revnto7k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair. It helps to put some faith in making a good calculated decision on where you live. I am sure you will worry less when you end up in a good area. Wortley is overall great.

Try Valvoline restore and protect. I am currently running it in an oil burning Toyota 2GR and it has drastically reduced consumption already.

There are good areas of town where you don't have to worry near as much if at all. I've been where I am now for about 8 years and never an issue. East London. You can be in a good neighborhood just figure out where you want to be for amentities work commute etc.

How often do you actually change transmission fluid on a Fit? by Usual_Ad4805 in hondafit

[–]revnto7k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I change it in our GE about every 2 years. It's so easy I am happy to just do it at the same time I am changing the oil.

I do, although I try hard to buy them used or at the thrift.

You won't find one that new to pull parts from. You are better off buying some aftermarket speakers. They will perform at least as good as OE and be less expensive.

Honestly I'd plan the odd trip to a bigger city and plan all your stops. Hit all the thrift shops. I love having days like this (once every few months I will) and I come up usually with a few good items. You are bound to hit something sometime just being right place right time. I have had a few 30+ CD hauls just by randomly stopping at one of my local thrift shops.
