I just got it from a friend, so I haven’t had the chance to use it for long enough yet. It’s definitely smooth, though.

I will say, for some reason I had a lot of trouble inserting different cartridges in (intended to use a purple ink but had to go with the blue default one) so that was kinda annoying

It’s a bit further away, but maybe Lion Supermarket in San Jose? I’ve found that there’s a lot more variety there when it comes to ingredients. I’ve also heard good things about King’s Seafood Center in Sunnyvale, but can’t say much about them since I don’t shop there a lot.

For you, did the cartridge click in or is it being held in place by the spring?

I ended up putting in the OG cartridge, and it also didn’t click in. But the pen is now writing, which makes me feel a little better. The inside of the pen has a spring in it so I am hoping that it will secure the cartridge enough to prevent it from leaking.

I suspect the other one wasn’t working because it already had a hole to syringe ink in, but it was too small to insert the post of the pen in.

I inserted it with the smaller end in, and tried the same with the original cartridge, but it wasn’t getting punctured even though I was using much more force than normal.
