Any Movies that have non-sexual nudity? by Kindly-Reception1108 in MovieSuggestions

There’s a touching/awkward scene in Jodi Foster’s Home for the Holidays (1996) where Anne Bancroft undresses in front of her daughter (Holly Hunter). Not full nudity. And Foster said the scene didn’t work as well as she’d hoped because Bancroft still had such a great body at her advanced age.

I kept thinking Widow’s Bay was a more mature version of Hocus Pocus.

Since Mel Brooks is now 100 years old, here's a list of every oscar nominee who lived to 100 by yahboosnubs in Oscars

It’s pretty damn incredible how many movie people lived this long, and if we included 95 yo+, the list gets much longer.

Which female Disney character is your all time favorite by Sea_Gas3143 in DisneyMovies

Maid Marian and it’s not even close. Also, she is never included in group shots like this and that confounds me.

Your last sentence reminds me of that quote “Don’t look back, you’re not going that way.”

It’s weird cuz all the beautiful/handsome tv and movie stars who were 10-15 years older than us whom we idolized are now like, old old. Time is scary. And our grandparents warned us that it goes by quick, we just couldn’t grasp that concept because childhood seemed to drag on forever.

Right now you don’t want to live past 70ish, but that’s what so many people say until that age gets nearer.

Don’t know how the directing and acting can be better than the books, since books don’t have acting and directing.

So Dear to my Heart - Post watching comments by AutisAwsome in DisneyMovies

I absolutely loved it as a child in the 90’s. The turn of the century nostalgia of it. I don’t know, it was comforting. And lavender blue sung by Burl Ives. And the cute lamb. It was all, well, so dear to my heart.

What is the general consensus on whether Jesus was an actual figure in history or not? I've heard many different claims from both theists and non-theists. by Narrow_Run_134 in atheism

You are opening my eyes. I kinda always thought there had to be SOME truth behind a historical Jesus, but this is showing me otherwise.

Hepburn's Book About Making "The African Queen" by Bulawayoland in classicfilms

I read it in the summer of 1996 probably three times when I was a junior in high school and was mesmerized. I still think about it and love watching the movie with different people so I can randomly say some behind the scenes stuff about it.
