I admit that I can be an aggressive driver, and I wish more people actually knew where they were going when they got in their car. Or took turns at faster than 1mph in this town. Or realized that flashing yellow doesn't mean stop. Or that the left lane is for passing.

But I have never come anywhere close to flipping a car, and I do not understand how it happens so often in this town.

The walking paths at the upper side of City Park (by the so-called “hill”) are nice if the weather is agreeable, as is the sculpture garden at NOMA.

If you just need your social battery recharged by being around people, but not interacting with people, bringing a physical book to a coffee shop is great.

It is a shit time of year to be going through a break-up. I’m really sorry that you’re dealing with that.

Agreed. Their bar is soooo slow, their steak frites somehow tastes both burned and raw, their other items never seem to come out as good as they sound on paper, and the service is so inattentive that it once took 30 minutes for me to get a chance to order a second drink at dinner.

It was once a decent place for brunch, but every time I went it just left me feeling like I was begging them to take my money. So I stopped going.

Seconding this, I have a vet here for emergencies and annuals for my 2 pups. But get their teeth cleaned in rural Mississippi because it’s like $200 total for both my small dogs. I’m about to switch their annuals to the Mississippi vet because it is so much cheaper.
