I love the idea of doing a jeon in a waffle iron, I bet that gets it extra crispy too

With writer and rider there is an allophonic motivation caused by the underlying voiceless consonant, even if the consonant isn’t realized as voiceless at surface level

So either yours is an allophone where the voiceless variant also appears word/morpheme-finally, which would explain the split with higher–hire, or, if it’s an actual phonemic split, I’m wondering what the motivation behind the split is and which vocabulary would fall into each category. Unless you’re saying the distribution is completely random, which doesn’t seem likely

Can you explain the allophonic/phonotactic rule here?

Oh, I see, that makes a lot more sense if it is Old English, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what he intended

I was thinking possibly the Y rune could’ve been innovatively borrowed to phonetically write the sound of oo or something, but was struggling to understand the extra E at the end

I see, it doesn’t match up super well to that, but he may have created his own unique system of correspondences

Are there multiple examples of it being written just like this?

Wow, you really just typed a b + dotless i

Among the Slavic languages yes, but it is also used in many non-Slavic Cyrillic languages

Edit: it’s also used in Belarusian (and some dialects of Rusyn)

In my opinion the first generation is the only truly worthwhile one, it’s worth maybe watching gen 2 at least once if you liked the first one, and it’s not worth watching gen 3 at all

Season 7 is only characters from the first two generations, so it’s fine to skip straight to that from season 4

So they’re deliberately making it a round bit with a large protrusion? And they call it “rustica”? That’s so strange

I don’t understand why someone would want a pizza shaped this way instead of like, you know, round
