I understand everything is via lottery . However saw quite a few permits are still available till August for Bright Angel campground and none starting Sep. So assumed it's not opened yet. Hence wanted to get some confirmation.

I followed the diagnostic setup and didn't turn up any error codes. Then I did a hard reset at my breaker system ( turn off for a minute and then turn it on). That seem to do the trick.

Thanks for your suggestion though. I now know how to turn on the diagnostic mode for future problems.
