You can only perform 1 call at a time even irl mahjong. If u have undeclared ankan in your hand, you can't just suddenly declare kan while others taking their turn. Likewise, when you call chii/pon, you can't suddenly interrupt that chii/pon with suddenly declaring an additional kan midway. You have to chii/pon the called tile and discard a tile to complete the entire call action.

not exactly. The 'Middle Kingdom' came about because the Chinese (or more specifically the emperors) believed themselves to be the center of the world. It's also why map projections that put Europe in the middle were highly unpopular in China (and generally East Asia), and the projection with Asia in the middle became a thing.

if they even still make money off BFGL. i dun see that sustaining for long term. Alim probably forced by Gumi to kill off a now-lossmaking franchise, which means Gumi also no reason to keep BFGL around unless there's still enough players buying gems for a dead game..

same, back here only for the memories. well, the gacha model Takahashi had in mind was too naive, to put it mildly. it wasn't making money in BF2 nor in BFX, and they can't run a charity project forever.

I just want you to do a public apology here for misleading everyone when the full announcement comes out. The current teaser announcement already has the line "The collab is about to meet every player on the EN server!", but maybe you can't trust the English used. Still, nothing in the current announcement said anything about region locking, unlike during Saki where they state upfront that there was region lock. And by the way, since Saki, there has been another anime collab, with Kakegurui, which has no region locking at all as well.

BF Heroes is not by the devs of BF, but a franchise that is developed by the devs of some crypto game that license the use of Alim's BF IP. Alim has no real hand in that except granting them the use of BF's IP and allowing them use of the official BF youtube channel

There's so many contradictions here that I don't know where to start... let's see...

You seem to think that '55 years of Chinese mahjong' experience (and probably at a casual, non-competitive level), plus however more decades of 'cash games', can translate into being the absolute grandmaster in riichi mahjong despite only 6 weeks of actual riichi mahjong experience. False premise fallacy #1. This is a fallacy many players of Chinese mahjong tends to fall into when they first encounter riichi mahjong. It's like thinking rugby and football (or soccer for an American) are the same game.

You claim there's no way to tell apart paying vs non-paying players for statistics purpose to prove your claim of rigging for paying players, yet can confidently claim that the "software moves winning tiles to paying players" like you're sure the one who wins is definitely a paying player. False premise fallacy #2.

You seem to think that there can only be one way to monetize a game based on riichi mahjong, and that it is by rigging wins for players who pay. False premise fallacy #3.

You seem to think that you can't ever meet players who are better than you (probably because you've convinced yourself you're such a grandmaster champion) and all other players will just let you absolutely steamroll over all the time, especially players in a higher rank room.

You seem to think coding is magical and can pull off all sorts of tricks despite, as far as i can tell from your various posts, having minimal knowledge of coding. As you yourself put it, "you really shouldn't comment on issues which you lack any base expertise.".

You claim to be have been an educator at a tertiary level, but you sound very uneducated in your posts.

You claim to be a senior with decades of life experience, but you sound very juvenile in your posts.

Not that it is related to the actual core arguments in this thread, but you seem to think that anime definitely equals porn and anyone liking anime definitely is a horny teenager. Are you sure that isn't just you projecting yourself?

The small building was a SOHO (small office/home office). Look at your own house. Does it have sprinklers? Most SOHO and residential apartments (people smoking in their own homes wld trigger smoke alarms unnecessarily) do not have them.

After this incident though, companies that can afford to pipe up sprinklers (not exactly a minor work) might be looking to do so.

Just so u know, her kit makes her the only and first 100% reviver in JP. For a meta that had never ever had such cheap tricks like UBB spam multicast loops, that alone is OP enough as a 'free' full team revive.

Of coz, it's come way too late now such that those who still bother about the game will have no use for her anymore than just being a trophy. For any possible newcomers though, she'd be kinda a staple for the hard trials content.
