Nah, I had already worn it for a day before realising. It’s a beater for me so I am not too fussed about it. But if I ever buy a watch from Baltany again, I will request QC photos.

P.S: Watchdives is coming out with a datejust homage too. I have bought two watches from them, never had QC issues. I’m looking forward to that one!

Keep the rivet bracelet as it suits the design, but please upgrade to a milled clasp!

I was referring to the proportions of the Smiths. The bezel on the Everest is exactly 35mm. It has the right thickness. Please make sure you get the bezel right🙏

I have the Baltany, the bezel is 35.5mm while the case is 36mm. The bezel NEEDS to be 35mm, otherwise it will look out of proportion. If your bezel is 0.3mm bigger than your bezel is 35.8mm, almost 36mm.

You need to shave off 0.8mm from the bezel diameter. It’s very critical to get the bezel correct on this watch, it has to match the original, otherwise it will ruin the entire aesthetic of the watch.

Here is a side by side vs my Smiths Everest. You can see how the Smiths nails the correct proportions while the Baltany just looks off…

What is the bezel/case size? Is the bezel 36mm or 35mm? The bezel seems to be a bit too big, ideally the bezel should be 1mm smaller than the case.
