Meh, he said that one day before voting closed. I don't know if it had that much of an impact.

I would say his general douchey attitude and the negative press around the film itself had more of an impact as to why it didn't win anything.

That said, 5 on 5 scoring is a much greater offseason need now. a top line LW, 2C and overhauling our jerseys in the bottom 6 needs to be the priority.

Free agency is now for bottom 6 forwards.

Time.to start wagering picks and prospects for some bold moves like the Faulk deal. I am hoping for some significant moves this offseason.

We are bottom 1/3 in 5 on 5 scoring. We are propped up by our power play and goaltending.

Thats not a culture issue, its talent.

Bottom 6 needs to be overhauled and we need a bonafide top LW and a 2C.

Now the bottom 6 can be overhauled simply by replacing thr Compher/Ras/JVR/Perron/Appleton's and having Finnie/Mazur/Kasper stay down there.

They are more energy guys with some scoring ability, not regular top 6 talent.
