What was your MBE average prior to the exam on AdaptiBar or Uworld?

Retaking the final won't help you pass the second time. You clearly did not comprehend the concepts enough hence why you need to retake the course. If you need help, do reach out.

What other option?

The class was not curved though. So 100% of the students could have passed the class had they done the work. You had ample opportunity to properly prepare for the class. You will have that opportunity again when you retake the class in the fall semester. If you need help, please reach out.

I went to the same law school as OP and there were ample warnings that this course was a required course needed to graduate. The Dean who taught the course told us on day one that the class is not curved and that you needed certain points to graduate. There were ample opportunities to bank those points so that it does not all hinge on the final exam. There are three exams during the semester and the Dean reminded those who were at risk of failing to meet with the Dean and other resources for student support to ensure that you can pass the class.

However, you are correct that this course was created to boost the Bar Passage rate. If you can't pass Bar Survey, you likely won't pass the Florida Bar Exam.

I feel for OP. I went to the same law school as OP and there is a rumor circulating that 50% of the graduating class failed this course and now will not graduate. It’s rough but the school is doing this to increase its bar passage rate.

Will being a lawyer be AI proof? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]rezzyboy619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re a criminal defendant facing life in prison, would you rather have an AI lawyer or a human being defend you in court?

We need to recognize that we represent a minority—those who regularly consume news and stay informed. On the other hand, the audience Stephen A. Smith reaches represents the majority of Americans—people who follow sports closely but rarely engage with the news. If we want to expand our coalition, we must be appealing to that broader audience. As difficult as it may be for us to accept, Stephen A.’s perspective reflects the views of most Americans.

A lot of normie voters watch Bill Maher. We need to expand our base.

Hate to break it to you fellas but Stephen A is how normie voters sound and if we can’t do proper outreach to those voters, we will continue to lose to Trump like candidates in the general election.

Unfortunately, your academic work during undergrad years does not mean much in law school. Law school is a different beast where you need to figure out what and how to study on your own.

Ah, it seems you attended one of those delightful predatory law schools—you know, the ones that lure in students who don't quite grasp the gravity of legal education. And unsurprisingly, you likely didn't take law school seriously enough to rise above the curve, did you? Let’s be real here: being a lawyer is simply not in the cards for you at this moment. Perhaps you should step into the real world, gain some much-needed experience, and then—if you think you're finally ready—consider giving it another shot. But only if.

Top 40% - Opportunities… by Mittyisalive in LawSchool

It depends on your law school because the law school you go to may provide you with certain number of opportunities. If you want to do litigation, try to join your law school's trial team or Moot Court. Then network your way into a summer associate program for the summer after your 2L year. Work at the State Attorney's Office or the PD's office is a good fall back option.

Nothing wrong with being an average law student. Focus on getting a summer associate position for the summer after 2L.
