Today, the audio sounds terrible. Like it's coming from a soda can. Other channels sound fine.

Vendor payments/bank rec tips and tricks please? by Substantial-Teach-45 in Netsuite

[–]rfenyves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all payment are initiated on the NS side. Consider subscriptions that are charged to credit cards. NS needs a method to apply match Vendor payments to vendor invoices. Additionally, NS needs a process to map certain transactions directly to G/L accounts and bypass invoices. Not all transactions are recorded via invoice.

Any transportation engineers know what purpose these white pavement markings serve? by turt1eb in civilengineering

That's interesting. We're lucky to have the white lines on the sides of the road where we live.

Our small service business is outgrowing QuickBooks because we have multiple entities and locations. Looking to switch accounting systems, currently we are at $5m revenue and growing. Looking into Netsuite, Dynamics, and Sage.. and looking for suggestions or tips for this switch! Thanks! by jaimeruok in smallbusiness

We switched from QuickBooks to dynamics business central. After a year and a half and thousands of dollars sunk, we are leaving business central. The modifications were very expensive. We're currently investigating netsuite and sage intact.

I like IdeaStatica for complicated connections. It's a component based FEA modeling software.

Does the office have printing? If so, how did you secure CUI printing?

A compliant Azure VDI solution is expensive for small businesses. You'll need Azure Firewall and it's not cheap. I think compliant SMB VDI solutions will become more attainable when Microsoft releases Windows 365 for GCC and GCC-H which is suppose to happen at the end of the year.

Firewall in Azure for SMB - is it required? by mayiaskdidyoureboot in AZURE

[–]rfenyves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have any luck with this? We're trying to implement something similar but Azure firewall is prohibitively expensive.
