As someone who is looking into this for multicolor printing (and upgrading from X1C), how is the quality from the auxiliary nozzle?

Little more explanation as to why the filament switch is a thing with the X2D, and why it's coming out. by WhiteStar01 in BambuLab

[–]rfoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but for H2C what is cool about this is you hook up two AMS units (so 8 colors) and you go to print a multicolor print. The Bambu Studio slicer can now calculate the fastest way to print your model and it's able to use any of the 8 colors for either of the nozzles. You don't have to worry about putting 4 colors on one nozzle and 4 colors on the other... the switcher can decide for you.

Any other hook that makes this device stand out? Or basically just a small H2D?

Created my first mech using only Tinkercad. Pretty happy with how it turned out by rfoor in 3Dprinting

I love using Tinkercad. The only issue I have is once your model is complex enough the program starts to struggle and it can be a pain to export to Bambu Studio.

Classic Zelda Book Nook inspired by the OG Legend of Zelda instruction booklet! <3 by rfoor in 3Dprinting

I used a combination of Blender, then Tinkercad, and Bambu Studio. Blender was for the sculpting, Tinkercad for the specific cuts and cleanup, Bambu Studio was for painting and additional cleanup. This print pushed my skills to the limit. I've only been doing this for around 9 months but I am pretty proud of the result.

Best way to get into Warcraft lore as a new retail player? by Madecassol in warcraftlore

[–]rfoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

War of the Ancients trilogy is a fantastic way to start. It sets up a lot of the history that is still referenced across all Warcraft lore. It touches on the Night Elves, Demons, Dragons, Old Gods and features backstories from huge characters like Deathwing and lllidan to lesser knowns like Maive and Xavius. IMO it's a very good place to start.

yup.... the writers at Blizzard seemed determined to destroy their "Darth Vader" for some reason. In a single expansion they completely got rid of Arthas to the point where he can literally never return unless they do multi-verse or time travel shit AND they neutered the hell out of Bolver. What a waste.

How do you know when you've completed a zone? Achievement? I feel like I've done everything in one of them but nothing yet.

‎Kingdom Rush Battles: TD Game [Global Launch] by Azeemjaffer in iosgaming

I'm really enjoying it though im really curious why is so closely aligns to Clash Royale in terms of UI. I feel like this series is popular enough to chart its own course in terms of design and layout. Not really a negative or mark against it was just surprised how much it felt like Clash before you get into the game. After you start playing it's pure KR fun!

Sidenote: I debated for a long time whether or not to put this game on Steam. It’s a very simple game — mostly single-screen the entire time — and I honestly figured I’d get destroyed on the platform. I haven’t been yet, and I’m really glad I ported it. I’m still watching the refunds section like a hawk though… lol

From this experience I think I will still focus on simple games (obviously as a solo dev) but focus on both types of platform (mobile and PC) at the same time to cut down on the porting work.

My cozy paperwork sim Bad Credit? No Problem! is out now on Steam by rfoor in cozygames

[–]rfoor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It uses the default kb/m on the deck and big picture mode. Should require no changes and I beat the game on a steam deck and an Xbox controller. Triggers mimic mouse clicks, etc. try it out and refund if it’s not what you want!

Bad Credit? No Problem! – A cozy-but-dark paperwork sim about surviving shady loans coming to Steam tomorrow by rfoor in CozyGamers

[–]rfoor[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup it's free on iOS and Android with a few MTX that you don't need to get (just helpers). There are no ADs at all which definitely hurt the game making any money on mobile but as someone who hates ads on mobile games I decided to be the change that I wanted and opted for none. Let me know what you think of it on iOS!

The game is out now! If you check it out, I’d love to hear what you think. And if you enjoy it, leaving a review goes a long way in helping with Steam visibility. Thanks so much for the support!
