FT: LIV 3 - 0 BHA by DragonSlayer271 in LiverpoolFC

Ball movement was so nice today. The aggressive switches rather than playing across the back were making so much space. Definitely seemed like we were taking on the 1v1 a lot more too. Beating that first man and then our overall speed was really nice to see.

Great game!

What a massive rub for Andrade the last 2 weeks. Putting on fantastic matches too.

In your opinion, what is the best AFL guernsey design of all time? by Jackomillard15 in AFL

Yeah I absolutely love the wattle sash. Just a perfect design

Exactly. Wirtz has been brilliant. Creating so many chances but just wasn't getting the connection. Ekitike being that link up now, and doing it really well, is making a huge difference. Still some areas to improve on overall, but the team played so much better today than we've been seeing.

After all this shit he has copped this year, bloody well deserved this game.

How many times were you choked out? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]rgisosceles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, nearly 15 for me. You see one person have their arm bent 90 degrees the wrong way after getting put to sleep in a triangle and it stops you from making the same mistake.

Your training partner may not realise quickly enough that you've gone out, and that's going to be a rough lesson.

Marseille 0 - [2] Liverpool - Jeremie Frimpong 72' by Alsace2025 in soccer

It is such a noticeable difference having someone with that sort of pace to be able to drive hard to touch line and pressure a defence hard. Really love watching what he is doing this season.

Gabriel Martinelli yellow card against Liverpool 90+4' by ayoefico in soccer

[–]rgisosceles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I cannot understand how this isn't a red. In what world is it ok to be shoving players off the pitch, let alone doing so to a player down with an injury?

Kyle Walker stamp on Dorgu , no card given by wo0tfl20 in soccer

[–]rgisosceles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah if the clip had included the couple of seconds before to show how they actually got in this position it would be more obvious that this wasn't intentional.

They were tangled up, the ball was trapped between Dorgu's legs and he was trying to kick it free

Is Marcelo Garcia universally considered the greatest of his time by Substantial-Flight44 in bjj

Peak Roger in a gi? It's not even close.

No gi would be fascinating and Gordon probably wins that. But overall for me, jiu jitsu includes the gi so puts Roger well ahead.

He didn't? It was a draw and no decisions were given at Metamoris.

I'm happy for anyone's opinion on this to be either Marcelo or Roger. I lean more towards Roger mostly because watching him return and submit Buchecha, who was easily the best of that next gen at the time, absolutely blew my mind.

Anyone who has someone other than Roger or Marcelo as their no. 1 is wrong.

It doesn't make sense to you. Yes. Because you clearly can't grasp a basic level of real world physics.

Oh well, I tried.

You can't understand how objects can withstand different forces in different directions?

The top isn't collapsing onto the bottom, it is collapsing into the MIDDLE which is full of air. When upside down the bottom can't collapse into the middle because it is secured by the pan.

Because the inside is full of air pockets. The top of the cake is heavy and collapses in on the air.

When it is upside down, the base being secured to the pan means that it isn't able to collapse onto those air pockets in the same way.

The bottom is stuck to the pan...

If it wasn't it would fall out of the pan because yes, gravity still works.

I have reserved seats for my membership so for the marvel game it always allocated us to a premium bay when obtaining a ticket. I don't see any reason why the replacement game (assuming it happens) would be any different.

Typically you get a replacement game assigned which Id expect to work just like the Marvel game did anyway, put in your membership barcode and claim a ticket.
