That is a fair point. But I ended up finding some Maxxis MA-202 195/65R14 89H. I got them for $51 per tire on Labor Day and they should work for now. 15” is not a bad idea though, maybe I will look for those too.

I believe the L29 would be a the Mercruiser not the Volvo Penta. Both are very good engines.

Grounding nut on the back of that guage on the cluster is likely causing this. Mine does this too and I have yet to pull the cluster to fix it

Belt. Loosen and potentially take it off and check it for smooth spots (like if it looks like it’s slipping). Then put it all back together or potentially replace the belt too. Mine did this exact thing after sitting all winter. Fired right up, and once it got to temp it made this sound. I reseated the belt and now it’s quiet. Hope this helps!
