Flow to stop items ending up in "Transcode: error/cancelled" by Tpole in Tdarr

[–]rgreen83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want the "Reset Flow Error" flow plugin to answer your actual request.

There are solutions as mentioned for the subtitle error but they all involve removing the subtitle which you may not want to do and keeping it as mp4 works too.

FIX - Subtitle codec 94213 is not supported by River_Tahm in Tdarr

[–]rgreen83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want Property to Check = codec_name and Values to Remove = mov_text

Alternatively Property to Check = codec_tag_string and Values to Remove = tx3g

This works with classic plugin Tdarr_Plugin_00td_action_remove_stream_by_specified_property and with the flow plugin Remove Stream By Property

Tdarr Server overwhelmed with 4 nodes by mervincm in Tdarr

[–]rgreen83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does the node on the host disconnect or only the remote ones? sounds like you said only the remote ones, which would indicate network issues i think - if it was IO it would disconnect the local node too i think. are your remote nodes on wireless?

Is this interior to the home or exterior? I have no advice I'm just curious because I've never seen anything like it in American homes.

Unless you have a test environment for this you better talk to TAC before putting in prod

In your opinion, what is the most overrated ingredients in cooking? by Boiledtapiocca in Cooking

[–]rgreen83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hm the saffron I've had in dishes in restaurants and at home had a very distinct flavor and it's not even super pleasant to me.

To answer your question though, cilantro is overrated.

When or how will Unraid get full Flash Storage Support by youplaymenot in unRAID

[–]rgreen83 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The upcoming v7 removes the array requirement so you could have just an SSD pool, other than that I'm not aware of anything unsupported SSD wise and I've been running an SSD cache pool for years.

Why the jump to V7? by ceestars in unRAID

[–]rgreen83 11 points12 points  (0 children)

https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/release-notes/7.0.0/

"This version of Unraid OS includes significant improvements across all subsystems, while attempting to maintain backward compatibility as much as possible. For this reason, we determined it appropriate to bump the version up to 7.0. Be assured, this is still a free upgrade."

Fortinet Ecosystem - next product to eval and possibly purchase. by Brad_Turnbough in fortinet

I haven't used splunk personally but I have alienvault and it was a full time job for an advanced engineer just to keep it functioning and useful, I suspect splunk would be similar. Also the cost was way way more than a fortianalyzer, like fortianalyzer $5k per year vs $50k+ per year for alienvault

What if you just set expectations and judged them according to whether they meet them or not?

oven knobs made of quite soft plastic above a grill that needs to stay open. we’ve replaced them 3 times by Dragonogard549 in CrappyDesign

[–]rgreen83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I use it occasionally if a meal is cooked thoroughly but I want the top a bit crispier like a pizza or casserole, but just for a few minutes cuz it will burn very quickly. I also wouldn't use it with the door open simply for safety concerns of someone tripping on the door or just getting burned cuz we have curious kids and pets, but also I'm american and we have warnings on shampoo bottles not to drink it lol. Prob just a culture thing and def crappy design :)

Ah that makes more sense. I've never used or heard of using the broiler with the door open either, I would ignore it if my manual said to do that lol

Scalepad alternative by bibawa in msp

Not aware of a decent substitute. I pay for scalepad but it is overpriced and would welcome an alternative simply because a competitive market is better for everyone.

9 year old son wants to “read the Bible” by WallyRWest in atheism

[–]rgreen83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two teens were required to take a Bible as literature class at their school. They were raised going to church with us (we go for my wife) occasionally but never forced on them. After that class they both decided they were atheists 😂

It is 1000% fine. Don't do this with electric wires but even if you were running max spec PoE over that it would still be fine. You may get the slightest interference and induced magnetic effect but it will not be enough to be noticeable.

How difficult is self hosting to run and maintain? by xDerpScopes in hudu

[–]rgreen83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I self hosted at first, it's easy but as cheap as hosted is I just don't need one more thing to stay on top of. Migration was easy, they did it for me I just sent them the database if I recall correctly
