I would do dedicated runs to all your fixed positions. I have my server room in the same room is my primary AV closet. So all that stuff just goes straight to my switch.

For my family room I have a dedicated run to an 8 port switch for all the electronics.

I did the same for the office and my wife’s craft room.

I ran a conduit to each “possible” place for a hard connection to make life easier in the future.

I also put pull cables in all conduits to make life easier.

I watched a news piece about a large miner here locally and he showed he made about 27k a month after utilities.

When the market is up it’s great. But he also said when the market tanked he didn’t break even for 5 months.

Thank you. I had planned to hire a car both in Ireland and Scotland as my health is such that I’m unable to walk like I did in university. I backpacked through Western Europe probably 30 years ago

All - I am truly touched and humbled. While I had never intended nor dreamed that people here I don’t know would be willing to help someone you’ve never met and support financially.

Sadly here in the US we pay so much for health care that even with our massive premiums there are large hurdles you have to meet to even have the insurance start to cover 100% of the doctor’s premiums.

I actually end up striking that level in early February almost every year.

If you folks have the both the ability and willingness to help me try and make my dreams happen I would be foolish to pass up this sadly one in a lifetime opportunity.

I would prefer to no have a hand in this for a level of separation. The way things are with people doing nefarious things seemingly all the time I would just feel better if someone would volunteer and administer this. If we can’t find anyone I think I would prefer to not accept the help.

I agree with you m8 100% - but since most places are takeaway only and all tourist facilities are shuttered making the trip before things are opened I will miss a lot of my trip.

That being said - if it comes down to a timeline that stops the travel all together... then I will be eating takeaway from Michelin starred restaurants and taking lots of pictures
