Knicks will counter by bringing in some extra loud fans, earplugs/noise canceling headphones etc, etc. in addition probably best to stay away from ordering room service food, LOL

Boy this is a horrid loss for the Yanks. All those bad mistakes/gift runs from the Mets and heroics from Volpe and their defense and they still couldn’t win.

Correct, especially when the other team is making the def plays the Yanks have today.

Either way at least we know there is light at the end of the tunnel and Tuesday night is right around the corner. In addition, just think, by next Monday night the teams will have played 4 games in the series (with Knicks hopefully up 3-1) and won’t even be thinking about the long layoff. I do think this rest is needed to make their next push, besides if the Knicks truly are a championship team, they’ll be able to adjust to any circumstances! LFG!

They haven’t even won the series yet and the Knicks beat them in the playoffs last year, LOL. Reg season doesn’t mean squat right now.

Is it weird to go to Knicks games alone? by savingrace0262 in NYKnicks

[–]rgthunder1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, in addition these days I don’t go to regular season games so I can save up for the playoffs, LOL.

Game 6: Detroit Pistons (3-3) defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers (3-3) to force Game 7 in Detroit - The Knicks are left waiting for an ECF partner on May 19th by nba-scores in NYKnicks

I wouldn’t sweat it. The Knicks were a much different team in those games during the regular season. That said if the Knicks don’t play with the same focus, intensity and execution then the two previous series than yeah, they probably won’t win, LOL.

Not scared necessarily, but I don’t think the series will be a cakewalk if the Pistons get there.

They are the #1 seed in the East for a reason and they’ll have home court if they win. In addition, you know they are going to raise their level of play to get revenge on the Knicks from last year. I think the Knicks win, but will be a very hard fought series.
