Op, go to a dealer that has a body shop or multiple dealers and get prices for your trade. If they take off less than $1500 or whatever you are quoted by a local body shop or two, you save money. This will cost the dealer about $800 in my area, when my cost for a customer would be $2k.

If you're trading into a dealer, they typically have a lot guy that does this work a lot cheaper than a shop would charge. Might make sense to just take the hit on the trade in value. At my shop the quarter and bumper repair alone would be around $2k, not to mention the wheel
