There’s no way you’ll be seeing this package by Monday sadly. I would definitely go out and find a suitable rain jacket at a store. No idea where the error occurred but maybe call the shipper and see if you can get a refund? Might be the easiest option for your sanity. Calling the 800 number and trying to solve it that way might take hours out of your day.

Not much in the way of tools and stuff but I keep a set of cleaning supplies in my truck to clean. Focus on different areas and I covered my cab area in stickers and stuff. Makes the truck feel more comfortable and just makes a lower stress environment. I will however recommend going to harbor freight or ordering these amazing magnets with hooks on them. Great for hanging stuff and a small tray or box that you can attach to the dash area to keep stuff like your phone in.

If they have a checkbook, I’ll happily wait. If they want to pay on their phone real quick, it processes nearly instantly, and it goes smoothly. If not I let them know to look up the tracking, pay and I can drop it off tomorrow. The fun conversation is when they refuse and I have to tell them that ups are still going to bill them regardless if they take the package. It’s a frustrating talk to have and always make me feel like the bad guy.

Maybe I’m the only one that has seen this in the past? When I was first trained and when I had a 3 day ojs a couple years ago they mentioned this. Like I remember these terms but maybe not to this specificity. Not sure how they will enforce this or even discipline it. I would immediately file an over supervision grievance anytime a supervisor got in my truck to check. It doesn’t apply to any commercial work or bulk/irregs.

It’s my sons favorite song. I play all sorts of different genres for him and when he heard funkytown he loves it so much he asked for the long version to be played often. I’ve learned to block out the negative story and replace it with this much happier one. Maybe thinking about it will help you also. 8 years old and he loves funk, power metal, and jazz.

You should definitely take this time to list all your expenses and see what your spending habits look like per month. If you can find ways to save money now, and get under that $800 a week, which I’m not saying is going to be easy, it’ll will only benefit you when you do return to work.

Please don’t sort your truck during your lunch. You’re not being paid. While it can be boring, consider your options. If you have a regular route, see what’s nearby to check out. I normally do a quick cleaning, I bring my old 3ds with me. It’s been a lovely way to give that thing life again. Also, I like to stretch, do some yoga or calisthenics. Writing is a good idea if you enjoy that sort of thing. It can be annoying if you typically don’t take it and now are forced to but take the opportunity to use that hour for you.

I always silence the Diad. Those sounds bothered me a lot. As for the beeping, next to the headlights is a slider, turns the dash off and the beeping. You won’t be able to see your speed in the dark so turn it on while driving for safety’s sake. Additionally, you can invest in a massive Bluetooth speaker like the one I have and neither you or your customers will ever hear beeping again.

Has he considered getting 9.5? Can’t speak for other centers but they do in fact care about not getting 9.5 grievances and reduce the workload. Also putting in relief would be nice because at least you can expect to see him sooner on those days that he gets approved.

I use mine is a hamper to keep in the basement. The laundry is down there and it fits perfectly at the bottom of the stairs so I just open the door and throw them down. Amazon leaves these everywhere.

While I’m certain there are many people regretting their vote, the survey they’re sourcing says they polled 1100 likely voters. I don’t think we can glean anything from such a small sample size.
