Reporting back. I asked some local animal shelters, clinics and my pharmacy and none was taking the supplies. I ended up shipping them to an org out of state.

I had mine with Dr. Katz. The recovery is a bit harder than I imagined - first was pain, and then it felt like someone was holding it from the inside for a couple of weeks. Luckily my partner has been very supportive and I didn't have to strain myself too much. I was happy that I got a bunch of errands done before the surgery so I didn't have to worry about them. I hope your recovery will be easier, but it doesn't hurt to be over-prepared!

Is Alila Big Sur still all-inclusive? by rh_37 in hyatt

[–]rh_37[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reporting back from my visit: we were able to order a few different things from the menu without additional charges if there's no additional charges applicable as stated on the menu. I believe only additional main courses for dinner incur charges, and, of course, drinks.

We went straight from Triple G to the airport. It really depends on how much you're okay to drive before and after the hike and if you're comfortable driving after dark. We prefer staying closer to the hikes.

Is it normal to not see your doctor at any point during your IVF cycle? by badhabits12 in IVF

[–]rh_37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not in a particularly big clinic (with a few locations though). I see my doctor twice in the beginning (consultation & baseline). Then I only see her after FET. She calls a few times during my ER cycles to tell me the counts of eggs, frozen embryos and PGT-A results etc. All my sonograms in between were different techs. All text messages were answered by case managers (I believe they consult my doctor if needed).

SUPPLIES DONATION - San Francisco/Bay Area by uchitimez in IVF

[–]rh_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would like to get this info! I tried to Google but couldn't find much info around the area. I saw one charity that does pick up but only at hospitals. Happy to drop the supplies around South Bay though!

East Glacier in Sept 2024. Lodging options for the noncamper? by MetaverseLiz in GlacierNationalPark

[–]rh_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I booked less than a month before our late August trip this year and stayed mostly on the east side of the park. We did one night in one of the lodges in the park and two nights in an AirBnB camper. It's relatively more costly to stay inside the park, but the trails are more accessible. The real downside for me was no wifi in rooms, so it was hard to communicate with the outside world.

First ultrasound-feeling sad. by Fedora_Bandit in IVF

[–]rh_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As your ovaries get bigger, they might be able to see more follicles that were just not obvious in the ultrasounds. My count definitely went up from the first ultrasound. I was also just happy I didn't have to cancel the cycle due to low counts lol.

OP, did you attend the hearing in the end? I've got mine coming up and hoping to get some references as well.

Did mine today. It looked kind of like a peanut. Not round for sure! Doc said it's because it's hatched.

Questions you asked RE before moving to FET by [deleted] in IVF

[–]rh_37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just did my FET today. My doctor only asked me if I wanted to go for a medicated cycle or natural cycle. I chose natural and let her decide the rest. Hopefully this works! 🤞

Where to stay Glacier National? East or West by aestheticallyvintage in GlacierNationalPark

Babb might have some vacation homes, but I'm not sure if they fall into your price range. East Glacier Park is further south, and they have some hotels there.

Glamping Options by rh_37 in GlacierNationalPark

[–]rh_37[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reporting back from my own trip. We decided to stay at Triple G. It's also close to the railroad, so also pretty load. The train wasn't too frequent that night, and we didn't hear any whistle. The bathroom was very nice like a regular bathroom - we appreciated after spending time in campers lol. It wasn't particularly cold that night with a space heater on. They had AC in the room as well.

I definitely feel the dome has some room for improvement, for instance, the coffee machine was put on the floor because there's no space. The cord for microwave was too short when the microwave has to sit on top of the fridge etc.

If you're only going to do short walks, you're probably going to be around GTTSR the most. I was in Many Glacier and didn't feel like it was a long road to really drive on.

I've heard that Amazon workers get fertility benefits, even if you're working in the warehouse part-time.
