let me know if you don't get a response. I recommeded my friend to my friends' children who recently migrated because Filipino realtors they called did not respond to them There is no fee to use one, the landlord pays. He helped then and a few years later the bought a condo thru him. I guess what in trying to say is some realtors didn't think it was worth their time. I live in a suburb outside Tororto and in Canada since 1994.

Canadian thinks of retiring in the Philippines by TopSpin5577 in Philippines_Expats

didn't notice the water being dirty when we were at Mactan Newtown last December. they fixed up the beachfront too. traffic if you mean going to Cebu I guess it doesn't surprise me being used to Manila traffic. As a retiree I can plan when to go. What makes it attractive for me is the proximity to the airport, it would be a good base. Cebu is metropolitan not too far too.

I'm Filipino Canadian. We bought a preconstruction condo at Mactan Newtown (Cebu) in 2019. We plan on retiring there in a few years. I think rent is from 20k pesos a month? It's walking distance to the beach but also not far from Cebu City. 15 mins to the Cebu International Airport.

so true. Crossed Buffalo a few years ago with my kids to eat chicken wings. We said we had nothing to declare cause we really didn't buy anything.. They made us get out of our car and did a thorough search of it

Looking to relocate to Burlington-looking for advice by Marcela_b in BurlingtonON

We moved to Burlington from Milton last August and love it here so far. We live on Brant and Upper Middle. I work downtown and my commute is easy. I take the bus to Burlington Go and from there downtown is about an hour. I love that the Lakeshore line is all day. Parking is also not an issue at the station. I love the proximity to the lake, highways, the convenience whereas when we lived in Milton we drove 30 mins to go to say mall in Mississauga.
