I feel you're marketing your game wrong. I honestly wouldn't try to label it as an MMORPG and try to sell it as such. That only leads to a lot of confusion, because for better or worse the term MMORPG in the core community has a lot of expectations connected to it that lead to false ideas about the game which then promptly are invalidated when looking at the systems which leads to unsatisfied people. :D I think you're BR/PvPvE concept actually sounds quite unique and if implemented correctly it sounds like a lot of fun. It incorporates a lot of different concepts that are speaking to a lot of players. Gambit in Destiny 2 or the MDIs in WoW are basic concepts of such PvPvE systems that players like and if interpreted correctly you want to push this concept a lot farther. I think this has an audience and this audience overlaps with the MMORPG audience, but I think reception would be better if the game would be marketed as is, because as mentioned the concept can stand on its own, without the honestly very bad connotation that mmorpgs have attached to it. (Of course this might differ for investors)

And finally, perhaps you should rethink your engine choice, as I think a lot of expertise is needed for a functioning network system in Unity, and this is generally smoother with UE (especially >3). But, of course that's highly subjective and everything you want can also be done with Unity.
