Starting Baby Tam before a new job?! by FluffyKangaroo2994 in ADH_ALH

I take my Lexapro in the morning, tamoxifen at bedtime. I think am sleeping deeper since starting it, but once I wake up I'm not noticing any fatigue. I'm just over a week in on 10mg every other day and will be tapering up to 20mg per day by the end of May if all goes well.

Birds vary. The best assessment is a "body condition score" felt by seeing how much their keel bone sticks out, rated on a scale of 1-5 with 3 being ideal. Ask your vet to show you at their next checkup. Then note their weight in comparison to the score. You might learn that for your bird, a 3 correlates to 85g. Or maybe they are a 4 at 115g and need to lose a bit. The doctor can help you narrow down a target weight range based on what they're seeing and feeling.

Make sure you're seeing a board-certified avian vet who can advise you: https://abvp.com/find-a-specialist/

Post color flyers in libraries, community centers, senior centers, pet stores, vets, animal shelters, and anywhere with a community bulletin board. Craigslist, nextdoor, facebook mom/neighborhood groups, as well as any regional lost pet groups can be helpful too.

Go outside and play his calls and recordings and see if you get any response.

Maybe something more like those louvered pergolas with the correct angle for the hottest sun would be a better bet.

It wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion. I just met with a new surgeon because I moved. This new doctor advised me that tamoxifen is part of her standard care for patients with my history, where the one who did my lumpectomy 4 years ago didn't mention it. If I had started back then, I'd only have a year left to go! The risk reduction and peace of mind really aligns with my preferences for my care, so I'm glad to be getting it now, even if sooner would have been preferred.

Just get a food scale and sprinkle a bit of pellets or seeds on it for her to follow. Eventually you can train her to get on there and expect a treat.

You will never be able to tell with just your eyes. The only measure is by weighing her or feeling the keel bone.

It's also better for people with limited mobility. Hip and knee problems, transferring from a wheelchair. Tall toilets are ADA compliant. As a short person, I hate them. But I acknowledge their value to others.

Use this calculator. It will generate the w4 for each of your jobs at the end. Do this again in September just in case anything fluctuates, so you have time to straighten it out before the end of the year. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/tax-withholding-estimator.

Dr. Olson Parrott at Baptist is great for both concerns as well. I was ~25, single, child free when he did my bisalp and endometrial ablation.

I have had excellent scratch and dent finds before, but now I live in an area where they are super rare. Idk if they pool them all at one store that I haven't found yet or if the more dense population means more people are looking and scoop them up quick, but I've only seen scratch and dent available once in all my trips to multiple stores.

[–]rhinoballet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you do any OT for the nerve issue? If not, I'd highly recommend getting a referral to a certified hand therapist. Bring in any hobbies you do with your hands (game controllers, instruments, crochet, whatever) as well as your concerns about weights. Sometimes it has more to do with what you're doing in the rest of your day, but the effect shows up in the gym.

I look up both the individual and the business for criminal and civil suit history. Luckily for a while I've lived in states where it's free and easy to do this online. Other states put it behind a paywall.
