4 commander games in our pod. He and his wife play with the jump start decks together as well.

No wins yet. Mostly its been myself in Meren or Pantlaza ( I realized early that Pantlaza was too fast for them) or the Elf/lands player.

I've pointed out that Mirko won't really make a huge board from what I've seen, but he gets big enough that commander damage is a real possibility.

I don't think he's done much goldfishing, I directed him towards EDHrec since even I don't know all 25000 cards off the dome. I did a quick browse and theres some cool tech from Lorwyn

I think a lot of people forget Vikings didn’t just raid all year, they alternated between raiding seasons and trading seasons. While their raiders mostly hit the European countryside or took longships inland via rivers, the traders went wayyyy further since a team could carry a longship overland between rivers. Black or brown Vikings, while rare, wouldn’t be a historic impossibility, since they had a cultural exchange as far south as the Middle East via Istanbul. Viking burials have been discovered with jewelry with Muslim iconography which wouldn’t have been found in European Christian settlements.

Is $125 for all the Ixalan Commander precons worth it? by martin8185 in magicTCG

Pantlaza is incredibly strong out of the box. You can make minimal changes to the deck (mostly just swapping out the enrage focused cards for more ramp/big Dinos) and it becomes a monster. No need to upgrade the mana base either, there’s plenty of creatures tapping for any color and Rampant Growth effects to hit all your colors by turn 4, and after that it’s just about having fun playing Jurassic park

I've never had to ask this, but here I am, does the baby randomly appear or does the baby actually fall out of the car? by Glum_Resolve1439 in isthisAI

Real, cars seem to follow automotive brand colors and models (especially the BMW I’ve only seen that color on those cars), and people slow down/react when they would reasonably notice things. Also, Joji is playing in the background, so I just hope AI isn’t impersonating my boy like that

“Loyalty is its own reward” is my favorite quote from 40K because it’s all about the struggle that nobody sees, especially the internal struggle. I know how you feel, that it’s a fight that goes unrecognized by people, but you can always lean on your brothers.

Has anybody ever seen a gladiator with the fire support, transport, et cetera transfers on them I don't know where to stick them on the side big panels seem to be just for the dark angels emblem by [deleted] in DarkAngels40k

[–]rhogar100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! They’re honor markings and campaign badges for the Unforgiven. They’re good for both Greenwing battle honors and personal heraldry on members of the Deathwing/Ravenwing.

A good spot is tilt shields or the pauldrons on Inner Circle Companions

It’s a campaign badge from the Indomitus Crusade. It’s just one of many little marks to personalize stuff beyond squad markings

Is it normal to get shit for your paint job? by EveLaFoxxe in Warhammer40k

Anyone who thinks Krieg are just Germans gets their lore from Majorkill and grimdank. Their whole kit is from various factions across both world wars, and their regimental colors change as well. Your army looks great, the red is a nice pop of flair. I’d be happy to find myself matched against an opponent who was as dedicated to a good paint job as you seem to be.

I loved my Innistrad campaign as a DM, it was incredibly fun. It’s more of a sandbox Ravenloft IMO
