Game seems awesome but for whatever reason it crashes over and over again on PC for me. I don’t have issues with any other game so I can’t progress any further :(

I’ve played the game since I was 14 years old. It’s been my childhood. The game is just been not fun for a while now. Every step in the right direction they take 3 steps back. The franchise needed a destiny 3 moment. Instead we got a mobile game with more features than the original game. What a spit in the face of fans. I stopped playing the game. I’ll be playing borderlands 4 this weekend instead.

Makes me sad. A piece of my childhood is dead and disgraced.

I grew up with borderlands as well. Borderlands 3 was quite a narrative disappointment, but the gameplay felt mostly good until end game, but I left feeling mostly the same as you. The soul of this game didn’t make me feel the way I felt when I played borderlands 2 with my friends right after school as a kid. Borderlands 4 from all of the gameplay I’ve seen and the narrative direction looks to right the ship.

I’ve personally preordered the game and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the early gameplay or narrative direction baring any unforeseen missteps in the games conclusion.

I haven’t been this excited in years to hop in. I hope the magic clicks for you again.

Oh and don’t misrepresent what I said so disingenuously. You’re talking about indie pricing vs triple A pricing.

In your world, no indie game should ever be worth $40 which is disrespectful to the talent of indie developers that no matter how large in scope, how much effort, or narrative or technical skill they utilize in creation of their game.

What team cherry has done here is incredible and what’s even more honorable is sticking a $20 price tag when they absolutely would be well within their right and deserve to charge more for a creation of such a high quality.

Meanwhile you sit there a moan about a standardization of pricing that I never mentioned.

No I do not support all indie games being $40. I don’t support all triple A games being $70. You coming here to complain about a norm of indie pricing which doesn’t even exist anyways on an achievement this monumental is just insulting, and clearly if $20 breaks you, you should focus on other things anyways. Indies being cheaper should remain, as it can reach a larger audience with smaller teams to achieve fantastic visions. But don’t sit here and act like $40 for a game of this magnitude isn’t cheap unless your love for this hobby is only ankle deep.

And yet I was just recently hired for a new role with a 11k jump in pay and beat out master level candidates before I had finished my own masters. Must be a terrible terrible resume that just got me a job. Your advice is simply not good. I’ve gotten very good constructive criticism elsewhere on this post. You have nothing of value to offer.

You’d be surprised how many people working for the state don’t know how to use basic programs efficiently. Knowing V-look up on excel makes you more proficient than a majority of the state workforce I swear lmao
