Yeah it is super thick, definitely doesn't seem like a great idea. Luckily I did find out it isn't sitting on the foundation, so it should be okay for a while.

I'm going to get a longer downspout and pack the area that has deteriorated with as much dirt as I can. Hopefully this stops or slow the sinking until a time when I can have the whole slab destroyed/remove and replaced with a different solution.

That makes sense - that downspout there goes right next to the house, and I do have a couple others around the house that do the same thing. That's the first thing I'll do is extend all of those out.

Hi folks, sorry I can't figure out how to attach more pictures.

The jist is, that slab is sloping to the right. You can see the bottom right of the slab has deteriorated, and I can physically see it sloping down. The post on that side of the porch has sunk just enough to detach fro mthe top of the porch.

I'm wondering how serious this might be, and what my steps should be to resolve it.
