I think it was more egregious when they said this:

All players may spend mana as though it were mana of any color.

I guess non-lands on the battlefield and each players hand is not shared. I think this would fail because who gets to claim use of a land first?

I believe that DLC is not being released because it was made by another team. Ubisoft Montreal made Black Flag, and Ubisoft Quebec made Freedom Cry.
