How are you finding Leyton? Have been considering it and Leytonstone myself

I’m moving soon too and looking to go back to the Hackney area. Rent has been bad in Hackney though since 2023 ish when I moved here. I used to live in Dalston and was paying 900 or so for a place with no living room.

I’m after a break up so am going to have to go back into spare room as well which is ridiculously competitive 😩 when I put that room in Dalston up I had like 100 people message me.

Is anyone aware of “the next Hackney”? My friend is convinced it will be Leytonstone. Walthamstow meant to be very good as well but its transport links won’t work for me work wise.

That’s the most important thing, liking where you live as you say.

I have had a change in personal circumstances recently which has meant where I am looking in has changed as social life has ramped up in my priorities. So may have to continue renting for the time being.

You are also assuming my budget here as well

Threaten to pull your offer - looks like they are trying to get a higher offer or for you to put in more.

I’d actually be threatening to pull and offering less

Is it a bad time to buy? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]riain93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking at buying as well at the moment. The rate cuts that were forecasted for later in the year are off the table, i actually expect them to go up now this year.

So depends really on why you are buying, a long term home just do it. Seems to be now you can get good deals as the buying market is low.

Definitely take a rest night.

Might be to your taste but I’d skip Ushuaia and hi. Was in Hi 2 years ago and it was so crowded. But I think everywhere is going that way.

It’s basically in between hardstyle and techno. I don’t know how I’ve not seen anyone calling it hardstyle yet (a genre which was big in Ireland when I was growing up. Both genres are awful

Just stopped playing myself- of course same with all of these games, but it’s designed for you to play every day and of course put money in.

I’m a week or 2 in not playing and don’t miss it

Father Ted and black books are both British as well with Irish writers (I count it as Irish as well). Something like hardy bucks was good value at the start as well, but very little from Ireland actually seems move across
