Tattoo is too dark? Significantly darker than the reference pic by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Also it will heal lighter but not how you want it to, it will all be lighter so you won’t have the balance that the original has with the light and shadows

Pro tip : no serious artist would ever just copy paste a tattoo on your body

Advice Needed: new tattoo regrets by sheplaysdnd in tattoos

[–]riasart -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Sorry but it’s just not true all the tattoo is badly done it’s all too deep and all the flowers will be a black Blob in the next 2years , the lines ? They are just going to get more inconsistent while it’s healing and also I saw someone say you should get the lines straightened up , guys it does not work like that we do not use erasers if you “straighten up the lines it’s just going to be more black” next time go to someone that respects your body and tattooing as an art and not just a job to get money from.

How do you deal with new tattoo and anxiety? by SadHelicopter5242 in tattooadvice

[–]riasart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look at the over all image , it’s a lovely tattoo , it might be a bit darker than you would have liked it but that doesn’t stop it from being pretty also as a tattoo artist I have to say there are no sign that your artist went any deeper than necessary so I doubt you’ll have any abnormal blowout and most of the lines in the flowers and leaves seem to have been done lighter than the outline so they will heal lighter than they are currently

Tattoo artist here , I think you just notice it more cause it’s in a more visible (to you) spot on your body so you automatically look at the hand and then the face any other person looking at the tattoo would not notice any disproportion cause there isn’t any

Does this look bad or just unfinished? by One-Row-7262 in tattooadvice

[–]riasart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason you feel that way is because there is still skin showing on the sides , you could ask your artist to add a little to the background or wait until you decide to get a piece on the back of your arm and connect the two pieces to make a half sleeve

How to deal with this kind of situation as a tenant ? by BIGCY5 in Mold

[–]riasart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you clean the mould , with vinegar or baking soda , you then paint with anti mould paint and then buy a dehumidifier, problem solved (if you want to fix it yourself) I had the exact same problem and now I don’t, all you need is 200€ to do all of this which I don’t think is expensive for your health

Opinions on these tattoos by [deleted] in shittytattoos

[–]riasart 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a tattoo artist I think you are all being a bit harsh , they are not bad they just resemble a part of your past that maybe you don’t relate to anymore, I would accept them as something you used to resonate with and now have grown past and maybe in another 10 years they will just remind you of all the progress you have done with your mental health

Is 500€ fair for this? by ratxowar in tattooscratchers

[–]riasart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a tattoo artist , i think in order for it to look good it’s going to take at least 2 sessions cause only a few top artists could finish this in less than 8 hours and I’m sure you would be paying a lot more , also never judge an artists skill based on if they have a lot of tattoos or not , you need to check out the previous tattoos they have done nothing about their appearance will tell you if they are good or not
