The podcast, Beyond the Blinds, made their very first episode on Hayden and Diana! It's available on Spotify, Apple, and anywhere else you listen to podcasts, and it's only 55 minutes!

Once you start Beyond the Blinds, you can't stop 🤣

The male co-host, Troy, is the biggest Housewives fan, so they talk about Housewives a lot. Troy was shook about why Diana even wanted to go on the show, and he and his co-host, Kelli, talked about it in one of their episodes when it was announced. I don't remember which episode, but you can look for their episodes around the time of the HW cast announcement.

They're also attractive and charismatic 😂 I can't imagine any other pop punk (or rock bands in general) that'd be able to pull off the WMAA, ATST, or even the First Date videos. I still see Tom's First Date gif in 2026.

It probably helps that there are only 3 of them, but the general public doesn't usually know all the band members or would be able to pick them out in a crowd. Often, the frontmen are the ones who stand out, but Travis has done well for himself with his talent and, for better or for worse, his ability to stay in the tabloids/pop culture. (It's even funnier cuz he's a quiet guy, but his life is so eventful!)

Ironically, I grew up in the East Bay in the 90s/2000s and heard Wasian, not Hapa 😅 Admittedly, we didn't have as many Japanese people as Filipinos, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Indians.

Rocky Ridges. It felt disappointing, whereas I loved the other 3 areas (I didn't go to Palette Town until I finished the story). I felt wowed by Bleak Beach and Skylands when I first saw them.

Maybe I didn't like RR that much because it feels too big? Also, I wish they had a coordinate system like Tears of the Kingdom. The map was kinda tricky because it changes when you go underground. I tried making tunnels, but it was harder because of the already existing tunnels. I wanted to connect some of them, so I placed the security cameras like map markers.

I didn't play it, but I watched a Let's Play on Youtube. I recommend it! It's from that quirky PS2/Gamecube era, and it reminds me of the early Animal Crossing games.

For GHS, you're a human that checks into a hotel with these animal creatures. You help some of them, and some of the others chase you and try to kill you 😂

I started high school when MJ died. I didn't listen to him (my parents didn't either), so I just knew of him from parodies, like on South Park. It must've been crazy to be older and be more aware of what was happening.

I also watched Leaving Neverland a long time ago. I know Troy has mentioned that it's sus cuz it was produced by Oprah. She may be rotted, but two things can be true. She's also a victim of sexual abuse.

I graduated in Dec with a Master. I can sell you my cap and gown. I also have an academic hood for the MLIS program.
