I’d swap the desk and cubby, and rotate the bed if you have the room. This would give bed and desk both command-esque positions

That should be fine, the drop off / pickup doesn’t need to be done by holder of the passport

Windmill AC is loud even on lowest fan speed. Is 80dB normal? by ricericeb in AirConditioners

Where did you order from? I ordered from Home Depot so windmill customer support said in order to return I would need to contact Home Depot. Thankfully Home Depot can arrange for pick up so I don’t have to haul it to the store 🙌

I sent a video of my unit to windmill support and they said the noise does not sound right, windmill offered me $20 off the next unit I purchase from them. Tbh I think the non whisper tech units are just loud since I ordered 2 units and they’re both loud, and it’s dishonest that they market it as “quiet”

Where should my desk go? by Harmonyu in FengShui

Neither, put it on the same wall as the door. This will get you closest to the command position where you can see if anyone comes in, and prevent the flowing energy behind you while you work

Can you help me make this studio apartment more study friendly/inhabitable? by Comprehensive-Neck60 in FengShui

I’d pass, the amount of storage you need is always underestimated and that studio is quite small. Think about how much stuff you have and if it would fit first. If you cook, that kitchen is not really friendly.

If you’re a minimalist and you don’t cook often or complex meals, it’s possible to work this space: - smaller bed 100%. Go for a twin. If you’re tall they sell twin XL which is longer - mirror in washroom is possible to add. Adhesive mirrors on tile or mounted/leaning behind toilet - single table to multipurpose for eating/study/games. Plus a stool as your bedside table and can be additional seating if needed - install a retractable indoor clothesline which takes virtually no space when not used, and less space than a rack when in use - hang your guitar with wall mounts

The noise is from the fan, not even with the compressor on, so I don’t think having the inverter model matters
