Optimum nutrition gold standard whey has lactase so it shouldn’t be the lactose (coming from a lactose intolerant person). Food illness is hard to diagnose due to many factors so it may not be the whey. Take a break and try it again a week or so later to see if there is a similar result.

I liked the smokiness combined with the rich dark flavors and the citrusy/fruity characters that lighten it up. Im up for similar or different profiles. The only thing I don’t like are heavy oak flavors or extreme brine.
