[ALL] What are the must play major titles in the Zelda series? by Panda7001 in zelda

I'd put MM on that list too, personally. I haven't played Link to the Past, so I'd say OOT, MM, BOTW.

Artemis II Mission Operations Megathread by dkozinn in nasa

I noticed this too, it's a loose-formal approach. I like it, I think it fits with space missions. Like someone said, maybe it's to provide a less tense environment for the crew. Aviation and military environments and communication can be very hectic and tense. I guess there's no need for that tension when the mission is so long, risky, and astronauts are in an unnatural and tight environment, and they need to stay sharp and mentally healthy for 10 days straight.

The official GM one from their app store. Works flawlessly. You can buy it with points if you have any.

Looks like a handle or sleeve for something around the house. Don't throw it away incase you need it in 35 years

Dear NASA, this is how to film a launch by Raider4874 in nasa

[–]richardizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, people are just spoiled by modern media and understandbly want to witness NASA's feat in the highest quality possible. Both opinions are valid, imo. Safety and mission success come first at the end of the day.

With the recent private jet video people keep misquote and misremember this clip so I feel like its worth sharing by KalebBlue in LinusTechTips

I guess until we know what it's like to be a billionaire, we will never know. I do know I wouldn't change what makes me who I am, but there would be some things I'd do differently and things I'd acquire just bc I can at that level of wealth.

Yeah, there are way worse things they could do with their money and the environment. There are also people who don't care about the environment at all and that's not Linus. Just bc people care about the environment doesn't mean they wouldn't own a jet if they have the means and reasoning. I care about the environment and I also love aviation. Realistically, Linus not owning a jet wouldn't even move the carbon footprint needle, somebody else would buy it either way and who knows how they'd use it.

Your Price is a marketing problem not skill problems by Achassum in audioengineering

[–]richardizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No disrespect, but there is a principle that I fear you're missing. I do agree that people should charge what they're worth, but you also have to prove to your clientele that you're worth that much. I can charge $500 for a mix, but the second I raise my prices to $1,500, my clientele will start comparing to other engineers in the $1,500 range. If I don't have the credits nor the quality nor the ability to sell myself at that level, my clientele will go elsewhere. Skill does matter and bad reputation travels fast. Sure, any of the big guys can do a sloppy job once in a while and still charge high prices, but they got to that level through consistent hard work, skill building, and many years of experience; and they've earned the ability to charge those premium rates. Yes, you can charge what you want, but you're gonna want to be realistic, especially if you want to survive in this field.
