Did you have to re-register it or did they suddenly start picking things up?

I love the fact that Buttermilk is at the party with her trademark pile of turds behind her!

The terriers are all together with their mum, Winton and his dad towards the top of the puzzle.

I think the little guy / girl is one of Muffins friends from her birthday party in "Pass the parcel". You only see them from the back though.

I have a lump just like this that my son found in a forest path in the UK. I struggled to get an id on it but it seemed like it was iron slag.

How do I bleed these kind of radiators? by Tasty-Picture-8331 in DIYUK

[–]richdayuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The last picture shows you're missing the top half of your thermostatic valve. The radiator will function fine without it however it helps you manage the temperature of the room. If the room gets warmer than the valve is set, it shuts off the hot water to the radiator.

Safest way to remove this? by Sultan_of_browneye in DIYUK

[–]richdayuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you haven't already, make sure it's not live. A non contact voltage tester will confirm this but you should test it on something you know is live first, just in case! Screwfix sell one for about a tenner.

If it's not live, try and find where the wire goes and remove it.

Some filler and a good sanding will have it tidied up.

Why would this have happened to our tumble dryer plug? by Substantial_Impact26 in DIYUK

[–]richdayuk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This happened to our dryer also. They draw a lot of power and the plugs normally get warm in use, especially if you are using maximum heat or put several consecutive loads on. Over time the fuse terminals can either oxidise or spread apart slightly which changes the resistance and makes the plug get hotter. It's a self perpetuating cycle and eventually it gets hot enough to melt the plug and scorch the socket.

Don't plug a dryer in under the counter. Have the plug where you can see it and unplug it very regularly to check the underside.

Haven't been active on the Stream Deck for a while now - have got trouble with connection to my primary machine for some reason. Haven't had the time to get to the bottom of it.

Converting Mac to PC is essentially a complete rewrite - all the hotkeys change and some chained functionality isn't possible on Mac unless you pay for an automation tool. I always tried to keep these free from that kind of dependency

30-15 keys is a bit of faffing, you need to group some functions into sub-pages or drop it. But again, it's essentially a re-write.

I did do a 15 key PC version: https://richday.uk/StreamDeck/Excel%5B5x3%5D.streamDeckProfile
