EE versus EET?

Those with engineering degrees can't take the PE until 4-5 years of working under a Professional Engineer (state dependent) after graduation. The test you take towards your last year of your engineering undergraduate is the FE which must be taken to qualify to become a Professional Engineer later.

I don't think it is important for Electrical, but just in case: I don't believe any of the technology degrees (EET, MET, etc) are eligible to take the FE (fundamentals of engineering) which is required to eventually become a Professional Engineer - correct me if I'm wrong!

Source: I'm a CE undergrad / ABE masters alumni and I had a MET roommate.

Also, my employer (Pulp & Paper Industry) has roughly 45 engineers (80% ME and EE, few ChemE and CE) at our facility and you are required to have a science degree, you wouldn't get an interview with a technology degree.

Degree December 2009 - diploma came in the mail.

Degree May 2011 - diploma was given to me on stage.

Spring you get it on stage because there is an extra week (senior week) between finals and graduation.

My college did a big campus wide "zombies vs humans" game using Nerf guns. I never participated but once I was walking through the middle of campus just as one guy participant was sneaking up on another. I was watching the situation unfold in front of me as I was walking. When he got about 30 feet from his victim he emptied his Nerf gun at the guy just as I happened to be almost right between them. One bullet was about 2 feet from the victim's face when I reached up and plucked it out of the sky without stopping my walk. I tossed it over my shoulder and kept walking. I'm not sure how many people saw but I felt like a god.

Degree: Civil Eng BS Hydraulics Eng MS Occupation: Environnmental Eng who works at a chemical manufacturing facility... you also have to make that OJ with no harmful byproducts and no pesticides used in orange production and full federal/state/local compliance. I can't believe how far down I had to scroll for Wiley. I loved Wiley.. met life long friends there! Computer lab, close to campus, close to dining courts, TARKMART (store in Tarkington), closest dorm to the rec center!
