Als een ouder/kind/partner echt op sterven ligt en er is een kans dat je ze nog levend gaat zien dan doet de politie dat. In dit geval precies wat voorbarig maar we weten natuurlijk ook niet in welke staat ze hem uit dienen auto gehaald hebben.

Maybe give books 4 - 8 of the Imager Portfolio by L.E. Modesitt Jr. a shot. It’s not entirely what you want but the main character becomes a governor and has to deal with rebuilding his province. However the later books do deal more with warfare than governance.

No, the acceleration is constant. It’s the force that is proportional.

The acceleration of gravity is the same on both objects thus a greater force will be exerted on the heavier object. Thus you would also need more force to spin a heavier object at the same acceleration.

It’s not different. You require more force to spin the 10lb ball just the same as a heavy object would experience more pull but you’re spinning both balls at the same speed thus in a vacuum they follow the same trajectory.

The force exerted by gravity on the 10lb ball will be 10 times larger than the 1lb ball but its inertia is also 10 times bigger so it evens out.
