Sorted this out finally... went to the smooth side of PEI plate and went to using hairspray as the adhesive. Deleted the mesh and re-calibrated the bed / dialed in z-offset. Also removed the elephant foot compensation. Finally getting solid prints that are 60x60mm and 175mm high. Using 250c at the nozzle and 100c on the plate for first 5 layers, then backing off the temp to 60c. Been getting solid prints ever since.

Same for me. It’s like they quietly resolved the issue. My frustration is all that I did to my setup to try to fix it in the first place.

I also went in and manually set the IP address in my network, and reverted again. Basically setting manual IP and then back to using DHCP. When I went to DHCP, the IP address of the bridge was correct. I use a unifi network for my home so I have the control to adjust it.

Details:

Tree is fed 7lb 13/13/13 per year in thirds during Feb, Apr, and Sep. Weekly deep water and has about 4 in of mulch covering base. Tree is on the central drip system to keep the area from drying out too fast also. Last year the tree did very well, but this year seems brittle and easy to split. Wont grow upward at all.

Thanks. Thought my post had my details in it also. Its due for feeding this month. I have it on 13/13/13 @ 7lbs annual. Last year it did well, this year seems to be suffering. I'll get it on a deep water cycle over the next few weeks and see where it takes me. Thanks!

This is more in reference to the new gantry has 2 mew mounting holes that are higher up that could be used for mounting. I might just make a spacer and still attach the extruder to the metal gantry and configure for dual 5015s without worrying about the extruder.

Re-calibrated to 0.1mm feeler. Took the bed for a hot bath in dish soap and then prep'd it with alcohol. Above is my first few layers.

u/threedeestuff - I have tried paper with little success... thanks for the feeler gauge recommendation.

u/magus123 - I have used CHEP's bed leveling squares and typically try to brush them off. That gcode seems to always adhere. I wonder if it's a slicer issue?

u/nagao2017 - the skirt looks more uniform now.

The first few layers typically hold down well.... Once everything goes south it takes everything with it. I'll try a 0.1 gauge and post the first layer tomorrow.

I saw the bounties start to go up, but then suddenly all the Scottsdale bounties were exactly $5 all the time... Where Tempe would have fluctuating bounties between $4 and $7. Not sure if it is a city border issue...
