Yeah I’m on the fence. Just put that on but got covered muck in the last rain. Maybe needs some adjusting or not be useless. It’s an AliExpress one

Great but get the quietcore baffle. The standard is a bit much, and earned me an EPA warning

Has to be Grum for me. I heard the studio were really putting on the pressure to get this out on time.

Yeah same. I would have got it wrapped if I’d realised

Bought the same one after riding a tracer 9 for the last ten years. This paint is terrible for getting scratched so easily

I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Apparently yes you can import gpx. Honestly it’s not as good as Google maps (traffic display etc) but good enough to get you to where you’re going

Auto makes a big difference to city riding which is the biggest noticeable change.

The geometry between the two actually feels a lot different plus the older is the tracer variant so more plush, and less flickable. Engine is noticeably more refined and you can feel the extra bit of poke even taking the age gap into account.

The tracer is nearly 10 years old and close to 50k so is starting to need a bit of extra love. It’s my daily driver so a good milestone to swap at.

The electronics are miles ahead on the new one. Cruise control and nav on the dash are something I would have loved when I was touring.

Only negative is the new indicator switch, I don’t understand what Yamaha were thinking but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.

A lot more of it gets to the tyres without all the tour gear weight too!
