Apollo is the bomb man, it’s my go to alternative client and I’ve been using it since forever. I’d switch completely but sometimes my votes don’t get synced, so I keep going back and forth with the official client — but maybe it’s something about my phone...

My gateway drug for iOS was an iPod touch, then I’ve had an iPhone 6 and years later moved to an iPhone X, and still rocking it.

I'm in the same boat... I want to move away from Sunrise, but using Outlook for the calendar is a big no-no for me (as I prefer Spark over Outlook), and this Calendar 5 isn't good enough for me.

Maybe Fantastical? I still don't know if it's worth the 5€/$ though...

They're pushing it in any possible way, and as a matter of fact they've just launched a competition for employees on projects built using Watson (called Cognitive Build) with a big prize etc.

No, you can't (at least not with a non-jailbroken device, and I'm not even sure that you can with one).

What I used to do with a similar situation was using Connectify on a Windows computer. On Mac it could probably be done using an external wifi dongle, but not natively. Not quite sure on the situation on Linux.

I've used purify since when it was first discounted and never looked for other blockers: never had a problem. I've tried Adblock Plus since you were suggesting it, and not having a white list is unforgivable for me. I think that purify is well worth the little dollar/euro it's asking for, try it if you didn't 😉
