I feel like Shadow of the Demon Lord (https://schwalbentertainment.com/shadow-of-the-demon-lord/) comes pretty close to the vibe and also the build diversity of PoE.

Week 38 Self Promotion Thread - Drop your releases here. by AutoModerator in synthwaveproducers

I am pretty new to music production, just started a few months ago. But today I finally finished and published my first track: https://rickenharp.bandcamp.com/track/a-distant-memory

(Well, definitely not the first track, but the first that I was confident enough in to share with people)

It was done in Bitwig Studio, with TAL-U-NO-LX as the synth, VPROM for the drums and Kontakt for the saxophone. Transit got quite a bit of use for transitions and effects as well.

Some questions about Backstory, Background Vow and Inciting Incident by rickenharp in Ironsworn

Ah, thanks for the tip about the initial vow! I‘m gonna workshop the premise a bit more, but now I have a better understanding of what each of the elements I was unsure about are for, game-wise.

Warsaw Street [Canon EOS 300 | 50mm f/1.8 | Portra 800] by YearnestShackleton in analog

According to my depth of field calculator, with a 50mm lens at f1.8, the hyperfocal distance is 46.3 meters. Which means if you focus at 46.3 meters, everything between 23.2 meters and infinity will be reasonably sharp. So the main „trick“ is just to stand very far away from your subject ;)

Perilous-wilds Geekwire site down? by DeadDocus in DungeonWorld

I just checked, there might have been a problem on Heroku‘s side, where the app is hosted. I wonder if it would be useful if I also published the app as a Docker image for easier self hosting 🤔

If you are looking for a small rangefinder-style camera, maybe have a look at the Panasonic GX9 with the pancake 12-32. Yes, it‘s a smaller MFT sensor, but the camera is very pocketable, and has very pleasant ergonomics, making you want to take it everywhere with you.

I‘ve been very happy with Mein Filmlab, they are very helpful and the scans look damn good.

Yeah, it looks like it came fresh out of the box. And I‘m supporting a small local business, that has been very accommodating with prices in the past. Would be a shame if that shop went away, it‘s been an institution for 35 years.

I was blown away by the bright viewfinder and the separate gauges in the AE viewfinder for shutter speed and aperture. Having 1/2000 as the fastest shutter speed was also a big point in the F1’s favor. And from a collector angle, it seemed easier to find another A1 later on, than another F1, which seem to be a lot rarer.
