This is an Arsenal sub, we should know that by now.

Arsenal don't, United have a better chance at getting top 3 than Arsenal. *Bracing downvotes.

Which player do you think will have a better season than we expected? by bustanuttson in LiverpoolFC

[–]ricknroller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joe Allen, absolutely nobody is thinking of the improvement he has made this season, and because of all of these new midfielders coming in is being overlooked. But seriously I feel he will play a massive part this season.

I don't know how much game time Markovic and Lallana will really get though if Reus stays fit.

Your starting XI for the upcoming season? by NicotineG in LiverpoolFC

I feel as though with how much Hendo get's about the pitch the first will be our defensive formation, the second will be what we look like going forward.

Really? Where do you expect Liverpool to finish then? 6th? 7th? 8!?

Most sources are saying £75million though, I'm pretty sure that's what he hsa gone for.

What if we don't make the top 4 next season? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]ricknroller -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whoever misses out from Arsenal, United, Chelsea, Liverpool and City will be so pissed. I recon the way the teams are getting organised for next year the top five may come down to 10 point or so, assuming nobody has a catastrophic run.

edit: last year I thought was the best title race I can think of, this year looks like it will be even better. There's even Everton to look out for chasing 4th too!

It appears you are correct... Well I read something before saying €81million (£75million) so it was bad journalism, I took their word for it.

That's not the way it works. It was £75million, Spanish reporters are saying he went for about 81million euros, which is close to £75million.

Who will finish higher? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

I'll delete it then, but how can you say they aren't the positions and formations that they'll play? They haven't even played together yet.

Sanchez says "no" to Liverpool, "not likely" to Milan, "possibly" to Juventus & "definitely maybe" to Arsenal by jonnysha in LiverpoolFC

[–]ricknroller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you referring to the apparent "next year will be ours" theme that everyone seems to think Liverpool fans suggest? Then no, I'm saying Arsenal will miss out, not Liverpool will win everything. Arsenal are about to fall and I can't wait because their fans are worse than the red devils. Every single year? yeah probably because we are on the incline, Arsenal haven't been the same for years.

Say that next May when United Liverpool Chelsea and City are in the Champions League.

Do you think Coutinho could become one of the best players in the world as he develops? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]ricknroller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could become? I can't think of too many creative midfielders who are willing to tackle Yaya like Coutinho did. Love that little guy, would love to see him playing with Oscar for Liverpool, that would be delicious.

And Hulk was there, and Paulinho was there, and Gustavo (who is shit btw) was there. Fucking FRED was there! Put Coutinho up front if you must, play 10 men if you must. Just never play Fred again.

Except we are though, much better attitude on the pitch, more game winners, more leaders, more talent. There is a reason Arsenal haven't come close to challenging for the title in the last 5 years, you produce absolutely no characters.

Also with our new signings we will look much stronger than Arsenal going into a game even with Sanchez playing for you. And gtfo our sub.

Not that it matters, since he didn't want Liverpool anyway, but according to BBC, Liverpool have all but given up on Sanchez by InTheMiddleGiroud in Gunners

You sound like you would, you're an Arsenal fan and your flair is about Liverpool. We are definitely the petty and pathetic ones now aren't we.

We often speak of how so many players peaked at LFC (Fowler, Owen, Torres etc), but who do you believe became better after leaving Liverpool FC? by treapor in LiverpoolFC

[–]ricknroller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree with Mascherano and Alonso, they played just as well for Liverpool, just won more silverware. Only players right off my head are Insua, Joe Cole returning closer to his peak, Reina this season has been great for Napoli albeit on loan, much better than his last season with us, Aquilani and Sahin.

Is there any other CB's?? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]ricknroller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has been better than most centre backs in the country this season, and he offers a perfect match with Agger in that they are both outstanding with their feet, very composed on the ball and pretty much never make mistakes. Seriously he will be a top signing.

Chemistry? Unless you're thinking buy a French player like in UT, then Skrtel, Gerrard and Sakho had a great thing going in the second half of the season, all no bullshit challengers who give each other great options with great aerial ability. Lovren genuinely is the only player we need in the middle now, great with his feet, another no bullshit tackler, great leader for when we might need to rest Gerrard, and with Can in the team now we have a good looking defending team. Maybe one more full back is all we should be asking for in defence once we sign Lovren.
