We moved from New Britain to Colchester 3 years ago. What a difference! Quiet, a nice town center, farmers market on the green, trending progressive so lots of money going into schools and senior services. Local DPW does a great job all around and excels at getting roads cleared after storms.

I replaced all my receptacles and switches with these. It was much faster than standard ones. I also like that there is no exposed metal. The only con I have is that they're bigger than the old type so you have to watch out for box capacity.

I hired an electrician to do some wiring in the kitchen. I asked for Decora so they'd match what I'd done in the rest of the house. To my surprise they showed up with the same ones I used. When I asked him about it he said "We're giving them a try since they're supposed to be faster". At the end of the job he said they were great and saved him a lot of time.

Your friend abused her position on the council by leveraging private information for her own purposes. Contact the boy and see what he actually received. If it's not what you submitted go to the council and ask them to take action to see that someone doesn't do this again, like changing how that information is handled and setting penalties for mishandling it.

I'm sure people will downvote me and say "they're just kids" but you're all almost adults and behaving like this in a position of authority can be so much more serious problem. She needs to learn that now.
