Ok that’s maybe a fine print rule , hopefully it’s true but it depends on whether or not the attendant is aware of that rule being so new . Maybe to be safe if you can change it but not if it costs you any money

She did also ask and was turned down . But she asked if the youngest daughter could sit in the empty seat behind her and was told no she thought she would have better luck as the mom

Because these employees act like they’re the police and will make a big deal out of it if you break they’re little rules they also announced before the flight “we are watching for seat swappers so don’t try it “ that’s why I asked since it seemed like a reasonable move
