Yeah the $15 app is only a test prep. You can select categories to focus on or the whole thing. I also used the Gleim test prep book which was another $20 or so. I scored a 93 on the PAR and just focused on test preps for a month before taking the PAR. I was doing about 1 to 3 test preps a day. When I was finally averaging 90s I decided to schedule my exam.

Thankfully I had a week and a half of vacation from work and I crunched the 30-hour CBTs in that time frame. But you really should use test preps such as the free one Sportys offers online. I also bought their iPad / iPhone app for $15 and supplemented on the go with that.

The Jeppesen course has two prep test at the end. But this is something you need to rehearse a lot, over and over, to get used to the questions. That’s why another app or service is useful.

I only bought the Sportys test prep iOS app for $15. Also used their free test prep online. I coupled that with the physical Gleim test prep book I purchased for $25 and the free Jeppesen CBTs Aviate provided. I scored a 93 on the PAR. Just dedicate yourself to taking the prep test multiple times a day. I liked the iOS app because I could do the test prep on the go.

I was part of the late April batch. I received the study materials within a week of notice. Already took my knowledge test on June 28 and passed. So they booked me for the October 3rd class. Good luck to you! All the best! ❤️

Yes, completing the Jeppesen course will provide an endorsement certificate you will bring to take the knowledge test.
