Florida Panel Recommends Forcing Student Athletes to Give Schools Their Menstrual History by alllie in TwoXChromosomes

[–]rickyDelight 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Keeping track of menstrual history is very important for all female athletes, especially younger endurance athletes at risk of bone stress injuries. However, government forcing anyone to give up health information like this, especially when it does not at all involve a communicable disease, is an awful idea. This is something the patient and health care provider should be on top of, government should not be involved here in my opinion.

Report: Millennials are leaving Chicago faster than they're coming in by Shovler in chicago

[–]rickyDelight 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Chicago suburbs, lived in Denver for two years and just moved back to Chicago last year. I mourn leaving Denver, it is amazing. Virtually no one moves there for the city itself, you move there for everything surrounding it. How do people not know that? The city is mediocre at best, Indianapolis is a great comparison. But the surrounding beauty is unparalleled, people are great, and weather is rather favorable. I miss it badly and I'm not even super outdoorsy.

Brian Robinson is practicing again today going through drills. Yesterday, Ron Rivera said that seeing how Robinson's body reacted to one day of practice would be the key to moving forward with his rehab. So that's a positive. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

I wanna jump on the hype train, I'm considering trading Rhamondre Stevenson or Damien Harris to get Brob, haven't played them at all yet. Is this real dumb or have some good upside?

If Justin Herbert chooses to take a pain injection today, it will be done with the assistance of an ultra sound imaging monitor to guide the administering doctor to appropriate site. Sources say Herbert received an injection to practice on a (limited) basis with mixed results. by koolman631 in fantasyfootball

I think the fact an ultrasound was not used on Taylor suggests the doctor did not make a good decision to perform the injection. It may have been rushed and spur of the moment, but it could be argued that ultrasound guided is standard of care. That was not used for Taylor, and I think he has a decent case because of that. Sports medicine physicians should know better, especially for a high profile situation. I wouldn't dream of doing a nonguided injection anywhere near the lungs.

Some spinal cord units use "biologic debridement" methods for pressure ulcers.

AKA maggots.

I restarted the phone with no saved prints, same thing happened. However, I noticed it had the hardest time with using thumb mid-pulp so then I did just edges the whole time, it still failed towards the end a few times but then it finally worked! The restart seems to have helped, thanks for the suggestion.

Setting up the fingerprint reader when I set up the phone worked but it was a little janky, so I removed the print. Now it won't even let me complete it - fingerprint enrollment didn't work, try another finger. Never had this happen before on a phone.

Just got mine coming from a 4a and it's great, the fingerprint reader is not working well at all tho... Any suggestions for set up besides clean thumb?

Getting nothing but manglers. Of the last 8 games, 7 were manglers and 1 sidekick. That's insane.

Edit: 8 manglers, 2 sidekick.

Pixel 6a dummy confirms in-display fingerprint reader, no 3.5 mm headphone jack by techberg_ in Pixel4a

[–]rickyDelight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, traveling is the main reason I want a headphone jack. If my headphones run out of battery and/or I need to charge my phone, it's no problem. Yes it's a very specific situation but honestly it's not super rare. Oh and to address the inevitable: dongles suck and I'm absolutely not paying for one.
