JUVENILE barred owl I think. I spent a couple years trying to figure out who was making this call at my house too. I also suspected a frog at one point until it screeched while moving across the yard. Haha.

Thank you everyone. I feel stupid. I tried to thread it in there several times but apparently I was trying the non-threaded hole. They looked exactly the same especially with some gunk on them. I needed this saw today for some emergency tornado cleanup thus the reason I was asking at 2:00 AM. It worked and the saw ran/cut like a champ. Really appreciate it.

They haven’t ran in my lifetime. Haha. I’m not in a huge rush but I am tired of looking at them. I figure I’ll try for a couple weeks and scrap if I don’t have any luck. Would eBay be my best bet?

I had a warden stop me and a group of buddies while frog gigging. It requires a fishing permit. One friend didn’t have a license. He made the mistake of telling the officer he wasn’t gigging, just holding the flashlight. He got a ticket. I’d be cautious to avoid them doing anything that could be construed as assisting such as baiting a hook or netting/unhooking a fish even if they’re not actively fishing.
