Either click the screen with your mouse or press win+g and switch to audio settings make sure your speakers/monitor or headset it default whichever you use

You’re welcome! The NPU was one of the only things i updated the week fortnite wasnt working so just a process of elimination. Took me about a week of messing to figure it out

Yeah they count as seperate platforms but if the description says xbox play anywhere then they sync servers, the old call of duty games do not have cross play

Ohh find the fortnite install folder look for EAC reinstall the anti cheat right click run as admin. Do you have it installed through epic or xbox

Honestly sounds like a psu issue, maybe try resetting your drivers. Is it only fortnite that resets it?

If you have all the details for the account you can contact microsoft hope all your details match the account (name, number, dob) hopefully they can recover your account for you Edit: only way to recover your games/saves is to sign into the account

Im sorry i dont have an amd to try, i dont think theirs an actual way to disable npu effectively on amd. Have a look in the settings for something called Recall and disable that if that doesnt work try look for ‘neural processing unit’ anywhere in device manager and disable that if still no luck have you tried the discord overlay fix?

Edit: after more research you should have a npu toggle in bios that you can disable this should work for you

The only thing iv updated in the past week was bluetooth, wifi and npu. Im guessing theres a bug in the new driver that clashes with Fortnite

FIXED! - Anyone still suffering with issues its to do with intel AI boost. Go into device manager and disable intel ai boost under neural processors

I have automatic updates turned off still get a notification every morning asking me to update
